Amy’s First Birthday

My baby is ONE y’all!! 23 January 2019

OMG babygirl, look at how far you have come. You are ONE already?? How time flies. I remember telling your dad to be strong and take care of both of you just Incase I didn’t make it in the process of having you, hormones y’all!!LOL

But knowing your dad he just laughed and said “don’t talk like that you will be fine. I just wanted to see you, I was tired of waiting…….moms can relate

Today I just want to tell you how thankful I am for you, I am so proud to call you my daughter. I am thankful to God for saving you from many things. This past one year has been so amazing. Today I just want to celebrate you and Thank God for you. I want to celebrate that we made it this far, that I made it, that you’re one happy baby, one beautiful baby, and a very smart girl. Your brother adores you and your dad is overprotective of you, but I guess that’s what many dads do LOL. I love how you make all of us laugh, you mean the whole world to us. Amy means “Beloved” and you sure are loved my baby girl.

May you grow full of wisdom, may you grow full of Gods favors, may God protect you and prosper you as you grow into the girl that he wants you to be. You make me understand the words “Only God Has The Final Say.” Because when I had you, when I saw you that’s exactly how I felt. Mommy loves you Amy.

Even though taking these photos was a challenge, I love how they came out and these are memories I want you to keep as you grow. I couldn’t be any happier the way these images came out. ( with the help of baby shark of course)

For my mother

Today you would have been 46, I have so many questions that are still unanswered even though many years have passed without you. Sometimes I just want to ask you simple things about motherhood, simple things that I have to figure out by myself most of the times, simple things that I have to rely on google to get answers from. I wish you were here to see your grandchildren, Awesome and Amy would have loved to see you. Awesome is growing and has reached a point where he asks “mom, where is your mommy?” I can’t explain to him because it is so hard to even talk about it, it hurts but I find comfort in the word of God knowing you are in a better place. (Psalm 119: 76)

May Your Soul Continue Resting In Eternal Peace Mom. Much Love and HAPPY 46th BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN.

I loved making each and everything from her tutu skirt, headband, cake, taking photos, editing etc

I hope you all enjoyed reading some of the memories I shared, feel free to ask me any questions in the comment section and I’ll be happy to reply to all of them.
